Team management for multilingual workforces

Run the team in every language.

Sermo is a team management app where everyone writes in their own language and every employee reads it clearly in theirs. It includes a ChatGPT-style AI assistant, assignment scheduling, GPS check-ins, time tracking, super-simple onboarding, and push notifications, all delivered in each user's preferred language.

Eight core features

Everything you need to manage a multilingual team in one app.

01

Native-language texting and app experience

Texting feels like iMessage, but with seamless AI translation. Slang, typos, misspellings, and mixed-language messages come through clearly. The whole app also appears in each user's preferred language.

02

ChatGPT-style manager assistant

Managers talk to Sermo like a real assistant. They describe what they want, and Sermo creates assignments, messages employees, checks schedules, or handles other manager workflows inside the app.

03

Translated coworker communication

Employees get the same smooth translated texting experience with coworkers, groups, and All Staff chats inside the company workspace.

04

Employee assignment calendars

Every employee has a personal calendar showing their assignments. They can check it anytime and get notified as soon as new work is added.

05

GPS check-ins

Employees check in with one tap, sending the manager a pinned map location as proof they arrived. Sermo can remind them when an assignment is about to start.

06

Time tracking

Employees clock in and out for hourly work. Managers get accurate timesheets that can be emailed or downloaded for review.

07

Simple employee onboarding

Managers invite employees with a link. Employees click it, enter their name and preferred language, and join the company workspace.

08

Push notifications

Sermo keeps everyone updated with notifications for messages, assignments, approvals, check-ins, and time tracking.

Talk to the app

Tell the AI manager assistant what you need, and Sermo handles the work.

The assistant is built like a command center. A manager can type a normal sentence, Sermo resolves the employee, date, group, or workflow, and the app performs the action. If something is ambiguous, Sermo asks a short follow-up before it changes anything.

Manager assistant prompt asking what can I do for you

"Assign cleaning 110 Washington every Monday to Jen."

Creates a recurring assignment, adds it to Jen's calendar, and notifies her.

"Text All Staff that the job moved to 3."

Sends a translated All Staff message that each employee reads in their own language.

"Who is clocked in right now?"

Pulls live workspace information from the timesheet system.

Field work

Keep field employees on schedule with assignments, GPS check-ins, time tracking, and reminders.

Sermo is the lightweight layer that keeps multilingual workers aligned: what to do, when to do it, where to go, whether they arrived, and how many hours they worked.

Proof of arrival

Check-ins capture one location snapshot when an employee taps the button. Managers see a map pin and can open it in the phone's native map app.

Hourly records

Time tracking is separate from check-ins. Employees clock in and out, while managers get simple timesheets for payroll review.

Reminders that prevent misses

Sermo can remind employees about assignments, check-ins, and time tracking so work does not disappear into missed texts.

Simple setup

Start a company workspace for $49/month and invite employees in minutes.

1. Purchase the company plan

Checkout collects the business name and manager phone number.

2. The manager gets a private invite

Sermo creates the workspace and texts the manager the setup link.

3. Employees join by link

Employees enter their name and preferred language, then wait for manager approval.

Give every employee the same clear workday.

They can write naturally. They can read clearly. Managers can run the app by talking to Sermo.
